Desertscene Podcast 079

The Desertscene Podcast is 79. we outlived you Harold Pinter, take that.

On this episode, Rory, Harris and the exceptionally talented writer looking for work - please hire - Tom Geddes really couldn't be bothered; it shows, but we recorded it for you anyway, because we're philanthropists when it comes down to it.

This week we give our brief thoughts on Desertfest (spoiler, it was great, but it's all a haze), as well as give out the news on some of the tastiest tours this side of Flavor Town, whose residents sadly survived the recent earthquake. We also rag on Wakefield for a bit.

Featuring music and words about (in order played): Sleep, Nomad, Yob, Vodun, Gurt and Master Charger.

Desertscene Podcast - Desertfest 2018 Specials

The Desertscene Podcast is 76, 77 and 78 due to a fracture in time caused by Harris paradoxically saying something funny.

This time, we've got three preview podcasts; each covering our picks from the different days of Desertfest 2018, released in time for you to enjoy on your travels to Camden Town. All three casts feature choice tracks from our favourite bands playing the weekend as well as interviews with an artist or two playing that day and the trademarked irritating lack of chemistry between the three hosts.

76 - Friday
Featuring music and words about, in order played:
Graveyard, Melting Hand, Morass of Molasses (with an interview with Bones), White Hills, Napalm Death and Dopelord.

77 - Saturday
Featuring music and words about, in order played:
High on Fire, Cattle, Dead Witches (with an interview with Mark Greening), Black Rainbows, Mastiff (with an interview with Jim) and Miss Lava.

78 - Sunday
Featuring music and words about, in order played:
Monster Magnet, LLNN, King Buffalo, Elder, Pist (with an interview with John) and Nebula.

So join us for about 3 hourish long chunks of Desertfest previews. And see you on the other side of a chaotic weekend.
