Desertscene in association with Snuff Lane are pleased to announce San Diegan blues-psych power trio, Radio Moscow, will be hitting up The Borderline on the 14th of August.

Part of that ‘70s revival scene that has invaded Europe in recent years – see Graveyard, Horisont, Gentlemans Pistols and Kadavar – Radio Moscow prove that the throwback vibes can be mastered on the Western side of the Atlantic too. Starting out life as the duo of the multi-instrumentalist mainstay Parker Griggs and bassist Serana Andersen, Radio Moscow have been laying down the fuzz infused southern stomp since 2003 with their self-titled debut full length dropping in 2007. Four full lengths – including the absolutely stunningly swaggering sophomore, Brain Cycles – and a few lineup changes later, Radio Moscow have cemented their sound around the aching-heart blues strut of Parker Griggs, and a touch of distortion. Likely to add to their already incredible back catalogue with September's New Beginnings LP, Radio Moscow will bring one hell of a show to London.

They'll be joined by blues rock legends Groundhogs. Kicking about the scene since the swinging 60s, Groundhogs have been an omnipresent force in British music. Grabbing mainstream attention with 1971's Split - featuring the classic 'Cherry Red' - Groundhogs will be the perfect starter for your main course of Radio Moscow.

Definitely one to bring the foot-stomping and head-bopping to any swarm of onlookers, Radio Moscow and Groundhogs are sure to slay in when they play the Borderline this August. Get your tickets today.
