Desertscene in association with Sound of Liberation are proud to announce Wo Fat will be bringing their Texas sized riffs to The Underworld, Camden on 11th October.

Everything is bigger in Texas they say and Wo Fat have been proving that for the last 15 years. Forged in Dallas in 2003, Wo Fat have been leading the charge of the underground's Texan takeover with their thick and fuzzy riffs ever since. Instantly introducing themselves with 2006's chest-penetrating belter, The Gathering Dark, showcasing to the world almost two hours worth of their blues-stuffed heavy-psych riffology. As we say, everything's bigger in Texas.

Now, six full lengths, three splits (with Abrahma, Egypt and The Re-Stoned respectively) and a live-album to their name - and more to come - Wo Fat are easily kings of 'The Big D'. Their most recent release, 2016's Midnight Cometh, presents a band who are true to their riffing roots, but also one who has progressively layered in the psych over the years to create a beast with more swagger than most can handle. After headlining The Underworld on the closing night of Desertfest 2016, we couldn't be more proud to have them back to grace the stage once more.

They'll be joined by The Devil & The Almighty Blues, whose name couldn't be more apt. Bringing a devilishly groovy stomp and infusing it with their almost nonchalant, relaxed tones.
